Carlo Smith
Founder & Senior IT Consultant / Technology Project Manager, ConsultBlu
Carlo Smith has worked as an independent IT consultant since 2006, providing IT and web services to small and mid-sized businesses. Along the way he has served as an interim IT director and IT director, run technology projects and ERP migrations, overseen a managed-service provider supporting 44 business centers, and built e-commerce integrations and web applications as a full-stack developer.
He founded ConsultBlu to bring that experience to small offices in Central Florida, and to build a team that pairs dependable everyday support with the ability to automate a workflow, connect two systems, manage a vendor or lead a migration from start to finish.

Fractional IT leadership and project execution for small businesses: assessments, integrations, procurement support, CRM/ERP alignment and process automation. Built the BriefGenesis AI legal-drafting prototype.

Owned migration of operations-critical forms, reports and analytics from a custom ERP to AvSight ERP (Salesforce), with emphasis on continuity and cutover planning. Managed the phased major-version deployment of a custom ERP serving 19,000 global customers, and managed developers delivering SSRS and Power BI reporting.
